Purpose

Use your home page on the web to see what's happening around your chosen location, catch up with your pages, review upcoming events you have tickets for, and open deals or people you may know.

When to use this

Use the home page when you want one starting point for nearby plans and updates connected to your account.

Step by step

1. At the top of the page, review Catch up and your greeting.
2. Set the location shown below the greeting. If no area is set, the page shows Choose a location and Pick your location above the location control.
3. Review event cards grouped under Today, Tomorrow, or a dated heading. Select an event card to open that event.
4. If My pages is shown, select a page to open it.
5. Under Your upcoming events, select a ticketed event to open your wallet. Select See all to open the full wallet.
6. Under the second Catch up section, select an event update to open the event or a post update to open its page.
7. Under Deals for you, select a deal to open it. With a precise location set, you can use All, Food & Drink, Clothing, Entertainment, Sports, Services, or Travel to filter Deals nearby.
8. On a wide screen, use Suggested people to open a person's profile. Select Add friend to send a request or Dismiss to remove the suggestion.
9. If you run a club, select Running a club? to start the page-claim flow.

Troubleshooting

• If the event area shows Choose a location and Pick your location, use the location control below them to set an area.
• Couldn't send the friend request. means the request did not complete. Try Add friend again.
• Couldn't dismiss this suggestion. means the suggestion was not removed. Try Dismiss again.
