Purpose

Use Near Me on the Happenings web app to browse nearby events, deals, and pages. You can set a location, choose a distance, and narrow what you see by type, event category, or date.

When to use this

Use this when you want to see what's happening around your current location or one of the listed cities. On larger web screens, the results also appear on a map beside the list.

Step by step

1. Open Near Me.
2. Select Set location.
3. Choose one of the listed cities, or select Use my location. If Happenings asks for access, select Allow location.
4. Use Distance to set a radius from 1 km to 100 km.
5. Choose All, Events, Deals, or Pages to control which results you see.
6. On All or Events, choose an event category or select Pick a date. Select Show all upcoming to clear a chosen date.
7. Select a result to open its details. On a larger screen, you can also select a map marker and then select the item in its pop-up.

Troubleshooting

• Location access blocked: Enable location access for Happenings in your browser settings, return to Near Me, and select Use my location again.
• No nearby results: Choose a wider Distance or a different location.
• No events found: Clear the selected date with Show all upcoming or choose a different event category.
• No events with location data: Continue browsing from the results list.
