Use AI to review and prepare an order refund
Inspect the order and previous refunds, clarify the amount and prepare the appropriate Connect action.
Try: “Check this order and prepare a refund of 100 kr. Do not execute anything yet.”
What can the connection do?
The page-scoped AI connection can read orders and refund lists when the role permits. Refund execution is not currently exposed as a page command. Internal operator tools use separate access and must not be used as a workaround.
Workflow for the AI assistant
- Establish the page, order, buyer, amount and currency. Read orders get and refunds list with hap_read after checking hap_help.
- Review captured payment, previous refunds, active requests and available ticket-use or fulfillment information.
- Clarify full or partial refund and the reason. Follow the organisation’s decision; do not invent a refund policy.
- Show the proposed amount and documented maximum. If unavailable, have the responsible person check Max refund in Connect.
- Provide a short handoff identifying the correct order, amount, currency, reason and known previous refunds. Omit unrelated personal data.
Execute and verify in Connect
A person with refund permission opens Orders → order → Request refund, checks the amount and maximum, selects the reason and reviews the request before Submit refund.
Prepared text is not a submitted refund. State clearly what AI did not execute. After submission, reread the order and refund status. Distinguish requested, processing, completed and failed.
An accepted request does not prove the money reached the bank. If the submission response is missing, investigate existing refunds before retrying. Do not promise an undocumented bank-processing time.
