Purpose

Upload and manage images, videos, and other assets for your page.

When to use this

Use Media library on the web when you need to browse uploads, inspect metadata, or fix failed uploads. A page must be selected.

Step by step

1. Open Media library.
2. Select Upload or drag files onto the page.
3. Use Search by filename or alt text… and the media type, entity type, and status filters.
4. Open an asset to review Asset details and metadata.
5. Select View asset or Copy URL when you need the public file.
6. To remove an unreferenced asset, select Delete, then confirm Delete. If the asset is still in use, remove or replace those references first.

Troubleshooting

• Pick a page to open the media library means you need to select a page first.
• Failed to upload means that file did not complete. Retry the file.
• No assets match these filters means the current search or filters match nothing.
• Failed to delete asset means the asset remains available. Refresh before retrying.
