Purpose

Start a conversation on the Happenings website with a friend, a group, a page, or Happenings support.

When to use this

Use this when you want to send a direct message, make a group chat, or contact the admins of a page you have joined. If you need help with tickets, payments, your account, or a page, use Contact support instead.

Step by step

1. Open Messages on the Happenings website.
2. Select New conversation.
3. Choose the kind of conversation you want:
   • Select Direct, then select a friend. The conversation opens immediately.
   • Select Group, enter a Group name, and select one or more friends. Then select Create group.
   • Select Page, then select a page you have joined. The conversation opens immediately.
4. If the list is long, use Search friends... or Search pages... to narrow it down.

To contact the Happenings team, select Contact support from Messages.

Troubleshooting

• No friends yet. Add some friends first. You do not have a friend available for a direct or group conversation.
• Join a page first to message its admins. Only pages you have joined appear under Page.
• No results found means your current search does not match a friend or page. Change or clear the search.
