Purpose

Create a public link, QR code, or ready-to-print poster for your page, an event, or a bundle. Every export points to the public Happenings destination, not to Connect.

Choose what to share

Your page

Click Share page in the Connect header. Use this when you want people to discover your page and its public content.

An event

1. Open Events and select the event.
2. Click QR and poster.

Publish the event before you hand out its link or print its QR code. A draft, closed, or cancelled event shows a publish-first message instead of the sharing tools.

A bundle

1. Open Bundles and select the bundle.
2. Open the Share tab.

The bundle must be active before you share it. Until then, Connect shows a publish-first message so you do not distribute a link to an unavailable bundle.

Check the destination

The Where the QR points section shows the exact public link used by every export.

1. Click Open to test the destination in a new tab.
2. Confirm that the correct page, event, or bundle opens.
3. Click Copy link when you want to paste the link into a message, email, website, or social post.

The link opens in the Happenings app when it is installed and on the web otherwise.

Export a QR code

Under QR code, choose the format that fits your design:

• PNG gives you a standard image with a white background.
• Transparent PNG is useful when you place the code on another background.
• SVG stays sharp when you scale it for a large sign or print layout.
• Copy image puts the QR image on your clipboard. If your browser cannot copy images, Connect downloads a PNG instead.

Keep clear space around the QR code. Do not crop it tightly or cover the center mark. Test a printed sample with a phone camera before the full print run.

Download a poster

The Poster section creates a ready-to-print image with the QR code included.

• A page poster uses your page name and logo.
• An event poster includes the event artwork and key details.
• A bundle poster uses the bundle name and the owning page's branding.

Click Download poster, open the file, and check the name, artwork, details, and QR destination before printing or posting it.

Troubleshooting

The sharing tools are not available

For an event or bundle, check that it is published and available. For your page, ask a page owner to confirm that you can edit the page profile or settings.

The wrong page branding appears

Confirm that the event or bundle belongs to the intended page. Connect uses the owning page's name and logo for the export.

Copy image downloads a file

Your browser does not support copying PNG images to the clipboard. Use the downloaded PNG or try another browser.

The printed QR code does not scan

Return to Connect and download the original export again. Keep its clear border, avoid low-contrast backgrounds, and test the final physical size before printing more copies.
