Send a text message in an existing Happenings conversation and see when another participant has read it.
Purpose
Send a text message in an existing conversation on the Happenings website and see when another participant has read your latest message.
When to use this
Use this when the conversation already exists. If it does not, use New conversation from Messages first.
Step by step
- Open Messages on the Happenings website.
- Select the conversation you want to continue.
- Enter your message in Message….
- Select Send message.
- When another participant reads your latest sent message, Read appears below it.
Troubleshooting
- No messages yet. Say hello! means the conversation has no messages. Enter a message in Message… to begin.
- If Send message is unavailable, enter some text and wait for any message already being sent to finish.
- If sending fails, your text stays in Message… so you can try again.
