Purpose

Create a post for your page in Connect and publish it now or schedule it for later.

When to use this

Use Posts when you want to share an update with your page's audience. A post can include text, up to six photos, and a poll.

Step by step

1. In Connect, open Posts.
2. Tap the plus button in the upper-right corner to open New post.
3. Add an optional Title (optional), then write the post in What's happening?.
4. To include photos, tap Add photos. After adding a photo, tap Add more to choose another. You can add up to six photos.
5. To include a poll, turn on Add poll, enter a question in Ask a question…, and complete at least two options. Tap Add option to add more, up to six.
6. Under Options, choose whether to keep Notify members on.
7. To publish now, leave Schedule off and tap Post. The app confirms with Post published.
8. To publish later, turn on Schedule, choose the Goes live date and time, then tap Schedule post. The app confirms with Post scheduled.

How it fits together

A scheduled post stays hidden until its chosen date and time. Members are notified when it goes live if Notify members is enabled.

Troubleshooting

• Post or Schedule post is disabled: Add body text or a valid poll. A poll needs a question and at least two completed options. A title or photos alone do not enable the button.
• No posts yet: The page does not have any posts to show in this list yet.
