Purpose

Choose which notifications Happenings sends you and whether this browser can receive push notifications.

When to use this

Use this when you want to turn push or email notifications on or off, or choose the updates you receive about events, tickets, pages, deals, social activity, and product news.

Step by step

1. On the web, open Settings, then Notifications.
2. In Push notifications, select Enable notifications if that option is shown, then respond to your browser's permission request.
3. Under Global, set Push notifications and Email notifications to the way you want them.
4. Turn individual notification types on or off in the remaining sections.
5. Select Save changes.
6. When your choices are saved, you see Notification preferences saved.

How it fits together

Browser permission lets this device receive web push. Your account preferences decide which push and email updates Happenings sends. For page-specific updates, use Page-specific controls on the page itself.

Troubleshooting

• Notifications are blocked in your browser settings means the browser has denied permission. Allow notifications for Happenings in the browser settings, then return to this page.
• Couldn't update notification preferences means your account choices were not saved. Try Save changes again.
