Happenings Web

Control attendee visibility and analytics, change your password, or delete your account.

Purpose

Control event attendance visibility and analytics, change your password, or permanently delete your Happenings account.

When to use this

Use this when you want to change who can see you on attendee lists, decide whether Happenings can use optional product analytics, update your password, or delete your account.

Step by step

On the web, open Settings, then Privacy & Security. Then choose the task you need:

  • Under Event attendance, turn Show me on attendee lists on or off. The change saves immediately and you see Attendance visibility updated.
  • Under Analytics, turn Analytics enabled on or off. The change saves immediately and you see Analytics preference updated.
  • Under Change password, enter your Current password, New password, and Confirm new password. The new password must have at least eight characters and both new-password fields must match. Select Update password.
  • Under Delete account, select Delete my account. Review the warning, follow Type DELETE to confirm, then select Delete my account again.

How it fits together

When Show me on attendee lists is on, your name and avatar appear in the Going list for events you have RSVP'd to or bought tickets for. Turning it off does not change your participation.

Deleting your account disables it, revokes active sessions, and anonymises your personal information. Happenings may retain legally required transactional records, including orders and tickets, for accounting and compliance obligations. This can't be undone. After deletion, Happenings signs you out and returns you to sign-in.

Troubleshooting

  • Couldn't update attendance visibility means the attendance setting did not change. Try the switch again.
  • Couldn't update analytics preference means the analytics setting did not change. Try the switch again.
  • Couldn't change password. Check your current password. means the password was not updated. Check the current password and make sure the new-password fields match.
  • Couldn't delete account. Try again. means the account was not deleted.
