Purpose

Give each hand-out team a live list of the people and bundle items they are responsible for.

The shared list is read-only. It shows names, answers, item quantities, and current pickup status. Page admins mark an order as picked up in Connect.

Before you start

Your bundle needs a checkout question with fixed answer options, such as team, class, or pickup point. Connect uses those answers to split the hand-out list.

Add a second question when helpers also need an identifier such as a room number or student number.

Create a list for each team

1. Open Bundles and select the bundle.
2. Open Hand-out.
3. Under Group by, choose the question that divides buyers into teams.
4. Under Also show, choose an optional identifying answer, or leave None selected.
5. Review the people and item totals under Teams.
6. Select Create link beside a team.
7. Copy the link and the four-digit code immediately. The code is shown only once.
8. Send both to the helper responsible for that team.

The link expires after seven days. It only opens after the helper enters the matching code.

Use and manage a shared list

The helper opens the link, enters the code, and selects Open list. The list shows Totals followed by the people and items for that team. It refreshes automatically and also has a Refresh action.

Back in Connect, Opened shows how many times the link has been accessed.

• Use Copy to send the active link again.
• Use New code when the code was lost or shared with the wrong person. The previous code stops working.
• Use Remove link when that helper should no longer have access.

Record pickup

Open the bundle's Reporting tab or the matching entry under Bundle orders. Find the buyer and select Mark as picked up only after the items have been handed over.

The helper list reflects the updated pickup status on its next refresh.

Troubleshooting

Nothing to group by

Edit the bundle and add a checkout question with fixed answer options. Free-text answers cannot create one list per team.

The helper sees “Wrong code”

Check that they entered the four-digit code for that exact link. If the code is unavailable, use New code and send the replacement.

The wrong people appear on a list

Check the question selected under Group by and review the buyers' saved answers. Changing Also show only changes the extra identifier; it does not move people between teams.
