Find and manage members in Connect
Connect iOS
Search and filter your page's members, review a member profile, and use the actions available to page admins.
Purpose
In Connect, “Members” lets you search and filter your page’s member list, open a member profile, and use the member actions available to you.
When to use this
Use this when you need to review someone’s membership or manage it for your page. The list starts with “Active”, and management controls appear only when your page access includes member management.
Step by step
- Open “Members” in Connect. The list initially shows memberships with the “Active” status.
- To narrow the list, enter a search term in “Search members”.
- To filter by membership state, open “Status” and choose “Active”, “Pending”, “Paused”, “Expired”, or “All”.
- Tap a member to open their profile. Depending on the available data, you can review details such as “Plan”, “Paid”, “Joined”, “Expires”, and “Last active”, together with sections including “Events”, “Orders”, “Notes”, “Titles”, and “Forums”.
- If the membership is “Pending” and you have member-management access, tap “Approve” to activate it.
- For other membership actions, open the menu in the top-right of the member profile and choose the action you need:
- “Change plan” appears when membership plans are available. Choose a plan, or “No plan”, then tap “Save”.
- “Set expiry” lets you turn “Set expiry date” on and choose a date. Turn it off to clear the expiry, then tap “Save”.
- “Pause membership” pauses an active membership. “Resume membership” makes a paused membership active again.
- “Add note” records an internal organiser note on the profile.
- “Resend welcome email” sends the welcome email again.
- “Transfer membership” moves the membership to another account. Search for the target, select it, add an optional reason if needed, then tap “Transfer”. The current account loses the membership.
- “Merge duplicate” moves this member’s history to the selected target member. Search for the target, select it, add an optional reason if needed, then tap “Merge”.
- “Remove member” removes the member’s access to the page. The confirmation states that this cannot be undone.
How it fits together
The member profile brings membership details, page activity, orders, notes, titles, forums, and management actions into one place.
Troubleshooting
- “No members” with “No active members yet.” means the default “Active” list is empty. If you expect memberships in another state, open “Status” and choose “All” or a different status.
- “No matches” means the current “Search members” term returned no rows. Clear it or try a different term.
- “No members match this filter.” means the selected “Status” has no matching memberships. Choose “All” or another status.
