Purpose

Use a festival map on the Happenings website to see where festival activities take place and open the event page for an activity.

When to use this

Use this when a festival page has activities with map locations and you want to compare their locations or check one activity's details. This guide applies to the web version of Happenings.

Step by step

1. Open the festival page on the Happenings website.
2. Check the festival name above "Everything happening, and where". The header also shows how many activities are on the map.
3. Select a marker on the map. Happenings centers the map on that activity and opens a card with the event title. When available, the card also shows the host, venue, start time, and cover image.
4. Select the event card to open that event's page.
5. Select elsewhere on the map to close the card.

Troubleshooting

• "No activities on the map yet" means the festival page has no activities with a map location, so it does not display the map.
• "Map unavailable" means the page does not have the map configuration it needs. This screen does not offer a retry or an alternative map.
