Purpose

Create a standalone vote for your page and review the responses.

When to use this

Use Votes on the web when members should answer a Single choice, Multiple choice, or Star rating question.

Step by step

1. Open Votes and select Create vote.
2. Choose the vote type, then enter Title and optional Description.
3. For a choice vote, add at least two Options. For a star vote, set Minimum stars and Maximum stars.
4. Under Vote settings, choose a Deadline, Results visibility, and whether members may change answers.
5. Review the vote and select Create vote.
6. Open it to Edit, Publish, Close, Reopen, or Delete, and review Responses.

Troubleshooting

• Give your vote a title means Title is required.
• Add at least two options (one per line) applies to choice votes.
• Star range must be between 1 and 10, with min less than max explains the valid range.
• Failed to load responses for the vote. Refresh before trying again.
