Purpose

Choose the page members included in an audience when the Audience picker appears in a Connect form.

When to use this

Use Audience when you want to narrow an audience with member, education, location, interest, or page-specific filters. Leave it as Everyone when you do not need a filter.

Step by step

1. In Connect, tap Audience in the form you are working on.
2. Choose any filters you need:
   • Under Membership, select Active members or Expired members.
   • Under Verification, turn on Require school verification.
   • Under Community titles, select one or more available titles.
   • Under Education, open Schools, Campuses, or Programs and select the entries you need.
   • Under City, open Cities and select one or more cities.
   • Under Interests, select one or more interests.
   • Under Start year, select one or more years.
   • Under Import lists, select an available list.
3. Use Search schools… or Search cities… to narrow a long list.
4. Check the audience estimate at the bottom after Connect finishes counting.
5. To remove one selection, tap its chip at the top. To clear every filter, tap Everyone.
6. Tap Done to apply the audience, or tap Cancel to leave the existing audience unchanged.

Troubleshooting

• No schools found. means the current school search has no results. Change or clear Search schools….
• No cities found. means the current city search has no results. Change or clear Search cities….
• This school has no campuses. or This school has no programs. means there is nothing to select for that school in the chosen education group.
